Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Daftari Law LLC handles information received through its website and related communications. It applies to website visitors and prospective clients; a separate engagement agreement may govern information handled during an attorney-client relationship.
Information you provide
The firm may receive information you choose to provide by telephone, email, text message, scheduling service, consultation, website form, or another communication channel. This may include your name, telephone number, email address, mailing address, names of parties, general matter type, documents, payment or scheduling details, SMS opt-in or opt-out preferences, and the contents of your communications.
Do not send confidential documents or a detailed factual narrative until the firm confirms that the information may be received. Sending information does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship.
Information collected automatically
The current website does not itself use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. The website host and internet-service providers may nevertheless process routine technical information - such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, requested pages, and timestamps - to deliver, secure, and maintain the website.
How information is used
The firm may use information to respond to inquiries; conduct conflicts checks; evaluate whether a matter falls within the practice; schedule and conduct consultations; send requested communications, including text messages when a person has opted in; provide legal services after engagement; operate, secure, and improve the website and firm systems; maintain business and legal records; process payments; and comply with professional, legal, and regulatory obligations.
How information may be disclosed
Information may be disclosed to service providers that support hosting, email, scheduling, case management, payments, document storage, communications, security, accounting, and similar operations; to co-counsel, consultants, or other professionals when authorized or appropriate; when required by law, court order, professional obligation, or to protect rights and security; or in connection with a lawful transfer or reorganization of the firm. The firm does not sell personal information for money.
SMS communications and consent
If you separately opt in to receive text messages from Daftari Law LLC through a web form, signed retainer or engagement agreement, or another documented method, the firm may use your telephone number and message information to send and manage those communications. Merely contacting the firm or signing an agreement that does not contain an SMS opt-in does not constitute SMS consent. SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates. Service providers used to transmit or support text messages may process limited information solely on the firm's behalf and are not permitted to use your SMS consent or telephone number for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Third-party services
Scheduling, payment, mapping, social-media, and other external services may collect information under their own privacy policies. The firm does not control those services. Review the applicable provider’s terms and privacy policy before submitting information.
Retention and security
The firm retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including conflicts records, professional obligations, dispute prevention, security, and legal compliance. Reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards are used, but no email, website, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask the firm to update contact information or request information about its privacy practices. Some records may need to be retained for conflicts checking, legal compliance, professional obligations, security, or the establishment or defense of legal claims.
Children
The website is not directed to children under 13, and the firm does not knowingly seek personal information from children through the website.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the website, firm operations, or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
