Community-association disputes
Association disputes are particularly suited to mediation: the parties often remain neighbors after the dispute ends, the governing documents constrain the range of outcomes, and litigation costs can exceed the amount in controversy. The firm mediates covenant, assessment, governance, owner-board, and related HOA disputes.
Published mediator rates
- Zoom mediation: $200 per hour, with a two-hour minimum.
- In-person mediation: $350 per hour, with a two-hour minimum.
Neutrality, disclosed: when the firm serves as mediator, it represents neither party — and is thereafter precluded from representing either party in that dispute. That constraint is the point: the parties receive a neutral with no stake in the dispute continuing. Review the Mediation Policy.
